FounderJason has been a real estate business owner since graduating from college in 2001. He has diverse experience in residential development, self-storage, car wash, construction, and multi-family. His great professional joy is having teams of people working together in coordinated efforts to achieve common goals with easy-to-follow data points and actions.
Jason’s time away from work is focused on being a great dad and husband to his daughter, son, and wife. He enjoys playing sports and introducing them to the outdoors. He personally enjoys trail running and cross-country skiing with his buddies.

Chris Stimac
Director of TechnologyChris joined the company as a Data Analyst in 2018. A US Army veteran, Chris served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and spent several years in the Army’s 3rd Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), performing ceremonial and security duties for high-ranking officials in Washington, DC.
Chris has lived all over Oregon; he was born and raised on the central coast and spent most of his adult life living in the Willamette Valley before moving with his wife, Lindsey, and their two young children to Central Oregon. He enjoys spending time outdoors, playing video games with his kids, making music, and watching football in the fall (‘Sco Ducks!).

Brandon Bennett
DIRECTOR OF DevelopmentBrandon Bennett joined Signal Ventures in 2021 as our Residential Project
Manager. Very quickly, he rose to the occasion and now manages all
development and construction projects for Signal Ventures. Brandon
obtained his B.S. in Business from California State University of Channel
Islands. His professional goal is to be VP of Construction.
In Brandon’s personal life, he enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his wife, Britt, and puppy, Theodora. In the summer, Brandon and his family can be found camping in the forest and in the winter, snow shoeing one of Oregon’s great trails. Currently they are starting the process of Foster Care and plan to open their home to whomever may need a place to stay.

Cash Smith
Director of OperationsCash Smith joined Signal Ventures as the Director of Operations in 2021. Cash is a trustworthy person you can count on for anything that needs to be done. He has 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, opening and managing hotels throughout the Pacific Northwest. Cash was also a real estate broker who sold homes in Central Oregon for over six years. Most recently, Cash opened and managed three retail stores across Oregon.
Cash has lived in Bend for over 20 years. He was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. He moved to Central Oregon to get out of the rain and into the snow. He enjoys spending time snowboarding, camping, working on his truck, doing projects at home, and spending time with his family.

Kyle Jones
Director of Finance & Accounting
Kyle Jones joined Signal Ventures as our Director of Finance & Accounting in 2022. Having experience working in accounting in the self-storage industry, he is excited to expand his knowledge in the real estate business. Kyle holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree in accounting from Eastern Washington University.
Kyle lives in Bend, Oregon with his wife, Kellie, and son, Camden. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and exploring the mountains (via foot, mountain bike, and ski) with his family and dog, Sophie.
